Welcome to our light, modern, comfortable home with an outdoor seating area and fully fenced backyard. All the modern conveniences are here and such a great location to both beaches - surf and harbour, shops, golf courses, hot pools, cafes and restaurants. This is the perfect location for a family holiday - summer or escaping winter.
The beautiful sandy beach of Mount Maunganui is a 5 minute stroll away. Check out the famous surf, enjoy a relaxing beach walk, walk around and/or up the Mount (Mauao) or explore the shops, cafes and bars.
The sports ground "Blake Park" is located at the end of the street, so very close if you have sports events in the area. So, our beach house is waiting for you to make memories at.

Aloha Maunganui!

This was a tremendous stay in Maunganui! Everything the property owners promised were available and the house was very clean and well maintained. From the carpeted garage to the air conditioners in each living space, the house was comfortable as advertised. We also enjoyed the outdoor space and had the chance to use the gas grill which made a great meal! The location was ideal, just off the main streets and truly a 5-minute walk from the beach. Helen and Bryan communicated so well prior, during, and even after our stay to make sure our stay went smoothly. This House is very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The location is a 5 min walk to the Beach and very popular Tay St Coffee Shop. This beautiful house exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book it again and recommend it to our friends and family. One very small correction that could help is the VRBO location which calls the house TAY STREET BEACH VIBE when in fact it's on Valley Rd.

A lovely beach house

Home away from home

Helen’s place has everything I was looking for. It was pristine, comfortable, elegant, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t be more perfect for enjoying and exploring The Mount. It was an easy two blocks to the beach, two blocks to the grocery, and a fifteen minute walk to town. I was visiting my niece and her family and Helen’s house was perfect for an informal dinner with the kids. I would recommend the Tay Street Beach Vibe House to any and all.

Cute house, lots of amenities nearby. Property owners were very communicative and helpful. Good access to beach, Mt (great hike), restaurants, etc. One small challenge was the narrow driveway and the setback of the house - feels like you are in a bowl amongst adjacent property. There was also Some construction noise one morning around 4:30am. Not the property owners fault, but definitely unwelcome.
