'Our stay at Villa Lampedusa Hotel & Residence was perfectly fine and actually better than we expected. We chose it because of its convenient location near the airport for the last night of a long trip, and it served that purpose well.
The room and bathroom were both spacious and generally clean, although the property could benefit from some updating. It has a lot of potential with a few renovations.

'I was upgraded from a studio to an apartment suite with a big balcony.
The accomodation is comfortable and safe (which is important to me, as a female solo traveler).
The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I forgot a few items when I left and they have been of great service to help me get them picked up by a courier.
The only minus point to me was the location. The neighbourhood felt safe and people were nice. However it seems like the municipality doesn’t maintain its sidewalks properly.'

'Property is a colonial style courtyard series of large rooms. There is no traditional Hotel Services and the Propert is extremely difficult to find.
You MUST locate the #60 on a fenced property as there is No Signage and only a 1” x 3” hand written note of the name of Corte del Merlo. The external area is very dark and a little worn. Access is a secured entry that requires you to press a button. Eventually someone comes to the Iron Fence to let you into the property which is very pleasant....

'We had a really good stay at this hotel and the staff was really friendly and helpful. We rented a car so it was easy to go to the city centre. When you don’t have a car its about 45 minutes by bus. The room was quite big and looked nice. '
