'The apartment is large and clean and well appointed. Elevator access. Location is in a small square across the river from the old town. Not in the old town as indicated on the VRBO map. Just a few minutes walk across the old bridge to the church and the market. Limited parking in Bilbao. I used the train station - expensive, and dodgey. The immediate area up from San Fransisko street is a bit dodgey. Exercise caution when passing through this area.'

'Superleuk verblijf gehad. De gastvrouw was vriendelijk en kon ons vanop afstand in de woning binnenlaten. Alles piekfijn in orde. Op 5min wandelen van de oude stad. Ook heel lekker restaurantje naast het appartment. Zeker een aanrader. '

'My son (20) and I spent 3 nights here. The space was nicely configured with two good- sized separate bedrooms and a complete kitchen (with clothes and dishwashers, large fridge) and living room. It was clean and recently renovated. The metro stop is right out the back door, just 10-15 minute to central Bilbao Quiet place to sleep away from the city center but an easy commute. Local shops had everything we needed. A perfect and affordable option, especially for a small family. '
