Commutation was via email, check in/out instructions were clear and the home was stocked with necessities as well as a nice gift basket. House is located just north of Smugglers Notch, so close proximity to skiing, hiking, and biking for all levels. »

« We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. The cottage has everything you need - washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, TV and WiFi. The sunsets over the lake were beautiful. »

« Overall an amazing home with beautiful scenery and great proximity to Kreamer & Kin, Heroes Welcome and North Hero House. The twin beds were tough for adults. Nothing the owner can do - and certainly aren’t being critical of anything they did - but the Brazo Zulu restaurant neighbor is a little rough. They play very loud, bad music almost nonstop. This was especially annoying in the morning when you’re trying to relax and enjoy the lake and mountains. Still highly recommend staying here but...

The location(within 10 minutes of Smugglers Notch & 20 minutes of Stowe), amenities, cleanliness, etc. were all exactly as described in the property description. Tara & Adrian were very responsive and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this property and hope we have an opportunity to return. »

« This is our second time at Finnegan’s barn and it is such a fun place to stay! It captures the uniqueness of old farm-style VT living. Haley is a wonderful host. She was very responsive to our questions, and even checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to VT. »

« The views are absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back. The island has so many hidden gem food spots. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by. I wish the parking spot was a little bit larger/safer as well. »
