  • Welcome to Uncommon Accommodations, a boutique collection of unique tiny homes and creative stays on a private 14-acre property in Vermont’s Green Mountains near Stowe and Smugglers’ Notch. This eclectic caboose tiny home is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted space filled with personality, artistic details, and funky design, paired with spa amenities including a year-round outdoor hot tub and an elevated treehouse barrel sauna.

    Handmade in Vermont by Guest Tiny Homes, the caboose is designed to feel playful, cozy, and unforgettable. The interior features eclectic decor, creative finishes, and thoughtful craftsmanship that make the space feel more like an art piece than a typical vacation rental. The tiny home includes a private bathroom with hot shower and toilet, a comfortable sleeping area, and efficient use of space that keeps the experience cozy without sacrificing comfort. A seasonal outdoor shower is available from May through October.

    Guests enjoy access to over 2,000 feet of frontage on the Lamoille River with swimming holes, river beaches, and private access to a scenic on-site waterfall. The property offers a peaceful natural setting that feels secluded while still being minutes from restaurants, breweries, skiing, hiking, and outdoor recreation.

    The shared spa amenities are a highlight of the stay. Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars or unwind in the treehouse barrel sauna after a day of exploring. Perfect location and no need to go to stowe ,downtowns has a Cafe and restaurant and store within 15 mins many breweries shoping and food.whats better then a cabin with firepit,sauna and tree house hot tub.rooms are spotless and unique. Ev charging. You can chill on your deck or join others around the fire pit

Great cozy, little spot

We loved staying in the little caboose! It was a great spot to access all the little towns in the area. The hot tub was AMAZING!

My husband and I had a great weekend stay! The property was nice, quiet, and peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, and egg chairs by the water which is usable on a first come first serve basis because of other units on the property. The food nearby was great! Jenn's bakery was delicious and worth checking out. Breakfast sandwiches were yummy! Just keep in mind the bath towels are a little small, the standing shower is small and water escapes out with the curtain, and the loft is hard on your knees getting to the enclosed bed. You may be able to pull the bed out a little to not feel a little clostraphobic at night like my husband. Overall, we enjoyed the space and would frequent there again in the future.

Loved the whole concept

We loved that we could walk down to the river and watch the sunset. The new houses look like they're going to be beautiful! The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of traveling! It was a great experience we will definitely return!

Nice weekend get away

Cute tiny house with nice walk to the falls. Helpful signs and info on property. Enjoyed the hot tub. Short drive to a Lamoille Valley Rail Trail trailhead. Would stay again!

Great hot tub and river swimming

Wasn’t sure about tiny house living but was always curious about what it would be like. Worked well for us and our dogs. Nice location with lots of great hiking nearby. Was quiet and neighbors were nice.

Great weekend

Spent a long weekend for my partners birthday. It was fabulous. The accomodations were great, we enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly 15 drgree day, and we enjoyed walking along the river with our dog. It was all around a perfect weekend.

Great for a long weekend

Great stay at Uncommon Accommodations! We loved our time at the Caboose Tiny Home. There were 3 of us and a small dog. We used the double bed upstairs plus the sofa bed (ground floor), nice and cozy. Cooked breakfast all 4 days and loved the hot shower. When the lights were out we watched the fireflies in the neighboring woods. Highly recommended for a long weekend. Tyler (host) readily available to answer any questions.

As long as you know what you're getting into with a tiny home, this is a unique and fun stay! We spent two nights in the Caboose and while it was tight is some areas (e.g. the loft bed can be tricky for two given the very low ceiling) it was mostly plenty of space for us and our dog. The property has several other cabins, tiny homes and yurts in various shapes and sizes around in which other people we staying but they are spaced out enough that everyone has plenty of room for themselves. It's located right alongside a picturesque river as well.The location itself is close to the Mt. Mansfield/Smuggers Notch/Stowe area with lots to see and do around within 10-30m drive.Host was very responsive and accommodating.

It was okay

Very comfortable beds. Very pretty waterfall on property. Hot tub was great. Absolutely nothing is included to make our stay no stress. Other vrbo’s we stayed at had coffee pods, creamers, sugars, small snacks etc. there was not even a lighter to start the fire in the pit. Other renters knocked on our door asking if we had any cooking oil because there unit had nothing included as well. No salt, pepper..nothing as well. Tyler did respond initially with concerns I had about the charging station we needed and there was no bathsoap provided. After that he did not respond to my requests for additional bath towels as we stayed 5 nights and wanted fresh towels even after we paid an additional 100 dollars for a third guest, even though the listing states it sleeps 4. Which he said was needed to cover additional linens, etc.overall it was ok, we also had to replace our own toilet paper and clean the chairs around the fire pit cause there was no way to sit in them without getting your clothes filthy. Maybe a daily check of built up mildew would be nice.
