'Geweldig hotel en top staff dat goed Engels spreekt en behulpzaam is. Naast het hotel wordt gebouwd aan een park met faciliteiten dat erg mooi zal zijn. Maar voor nu heb je dus met iets van bouwoverlast te doen. In het hotel merk je daar verder niks van. '

Easy walking distance from where the airport bus terminates, the historic city center, the long distance bus station and the ferry port. There is a small reception desk, but it's often not staffed. The rooms are fine but basic. Kitchenette, fridge and a washing machine. Air-conditioning is fine. Window blinds are leaking a bit of light in the morning. For the price it's fine and i would stay here again. '

'We have just returned from 4 nights staying here, and had a fantastic break. It was important to us to have an outdoor space where we could relax before heading out each day to explore the area. We booked a room with terrace and hot tub which worked perfectly for us. The room was adequately equipped, we could suggest having a hook somewhere to hang our coats/jackets but other than that it had everything we needed. 'Villa Matejuska is een leuk klein hotel in het oude centrum van Split. Het ligt net iets buiten de drukte en toch op loopafstand van de oude stad. Prima service en aardige mensen. Bushalte en winkels (supermarkt) op loopafstand. Een aanrader!'

'Great location, just steps from the beach and the promenade, perfect for exploring Makarska on foot. It was really convenient to have a parking spot in the garage, as parking in the area can be tricky. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and everything was well organized. Overall, a very nice and comfortable stay.'
