« We stayed at Highland Glen Lodge on our last night in Alaska. We saved the best for last. There were so many perfect details in this home including, imported tea in our rooms, robes in our room, conversations with the owners, scrumptious breakfast, and beautiful views. It was perfect. »

The only slightly negative point was that the room wasn't very big, and the second bed (in the 3-person room) was in a very small space and inaccessible to the elderly or people with special needs (ladder for access). « Pretty house!! Has good sitting areas across the house to relax and enjoy the view. The landlord is very friendly and serves a variety of nice options for breakfast. She was even mindful of our safety and offered her own bear spray and umbrella for the trip duration. Quick 5mins drive to airport so definitely recommend in case of late night arrivals. »

« We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay. »
