'It was good for the most part check-in was quick and simple. They are in the process of renovating the majority of the complex. They did have a Tiki bar and small menu to choose from. The Pool close to the bar was the better of the two the other pool appeared a little green and was ready for a renovation. The room was good for a 1 bedroom. There were no smoke Detector's in the room. The patio/balcony was small and a tight fit with the 2 chairs and table looked like it came from Walmart/ Lowe’s...

'First of all the room was very small It looks much bigger online the bedroom doesn’t even have a door no privacy whatsoever. The door to the balcony does not even lock, but it was a clean room. The pools had trash in them. There’s nowhere to park. You have to park across the road then there are homeless people all around your vehicles at night would not recommend Bluewater resort to anyone.'

'Had a little trouble finding the place using map apps but once we found it and figured out the location and how close it is to everything Charleston....it was great. Going to book it again.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice… the location is close proximity to the beach, shopping areas and nice restaurants. The facilities on the site was really nice. Good that they had a playground swimming pool included a kiddy pool in which my daughter enjoyed and the hot tub all three were very clean I would say to be mindful of the bed linens and that they’re not stained and checked prior to guest arrival. I had to wash our sheets before we use them because there was red dots on...
