'03-Jan-2026 As San Diego locals we really enjoyed our end-of-year staycation at the Gaylord Pacific. Despite rain during our two day visit, we felt the staff did their best to accommodate us as much as possible. We rented a cabana near the pool for New Year’s Eve and Zakiya provided phenomenal service to our family of 6, which includes our four young sons. 'Very clean resort. '

'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'
