'Hotel was een beetje lastig te vinden. De app van hotels.com gaf een iets andere positie aan dan de werkelijkheid bleek te zijn. Entree is smal en er was niemand aanwezig / bereikbaar. Pas na nog eens bellen bleek dat de receptionist in het restaurant bezig was met een waterlekkage. Kamer was zeer ruim en zeer goed voorzien. Prima bed en douchegelegenheid. Gang en trappen smal. Eten in restaurant was goed, maar niet echt bijzonder. in restaurant stonden diverse emmers vanwege de lekkage. Kortom...

'Lovely warm welcome, superb nights sleep….although was a little worse for wear after my old buddies wake. Woke up to a superb hot shower, enormous fluffy towel, and then the most amazing and sumptuous breakfast I have EVER had….and I’ve had some breakfast! The absolute best. Thank you so much for making the end of a tough day really rather lovely. Owners and staff treated me like a regular immediately. In the words of Arnold….ill be back!! X'

'We had a great time , very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is not served before 10 am, so too late for us , and the restaurant was not open in the evening , but I’m sure it will be sorted out soon , it’s all new. '

'Booked a mid-week night away, our first stay here. Delighted with what we found: - good sized room (but would be good to have a socket or 2 by the bed). Clean and comfortable. Welcoming staff & owner. Good menu selection for our evening meal there. Right next to harbour and our room had sea views. Amazing breakfast - so much choice and loads. Even a residents car park. Would go back again.'

'Two night stay on a business trip so not looking for anything fancy, just a comfortable place for the nights. Nice old pub, good size room with large bath/shower and the usual tv, kettle, etc. Restaurant was a surprise - interesting menu, reasonably priced and really good food. Not the usual pub microwave fare but well cooked fresh food which I thoroughly enjoyed.'

'We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Paul en zijn vrouw, de uitbaters van de 500 jaar oude pub. De kamer was erg netjes. Om 18:30 ging de pub open en stroomden de plaatselijke gasten binnen en was herberg gezellig. We hebben ons avondeten in de pub besteld en de volgende ochtend werd on ontbijt klaargemaakt. Het was een leuke ervaring. '

'Stayed for 1 nt on 20th Aug. Had lovely home cooked Sunday lunch and our room was stunning and stylish. everything was brand new and we had a very comfortable bed which is a must x our breakfast in the morning was amazing, the staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly and even the chef came out for a chat in the evening . The weather was appalling but our stay at the inn made up for it. Thank you so much for a lovely visit We'll definitely be back.'

'A good stay in this hotel. Lucky enough to be there for steak night which was a bargain - 2 rumps for £25. Cooked breakfast was also good and the room was comfortable. Will stay again if in the area. '
