'On previous trips to Santa Barbara we’ve stayed closer to the beach, but for this mother/daughter trip with an independent teen I wanted to be close enough to Street street for my daughter to browse shops while I worked. The views from the property are spectacular and it provided us the opportunity to relax in the countryside- yet take advantage of all of the wineries and restaurants in Santa Ynez valley close by. 'Listing was somewhat accurate. The rooms were nice, but a bit older and the carpets on the dingier side. The listing made it seem like we would have our own seating area within the room and that was not the case. It was worth what we payed for in that area of Solvang, I suppose.'
