Motels in Sandia Mountain Wilderness

'Wonderful staff, fenced parking, clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. Older property, but nicely updated.'

'This is strictly a budget motel. It met my needs for a quick overnight while traveling with a dog. The manager was mopping the lobby area which was tile, when i arrived, but the carpeting in elevator and common areas like hallways was sorely I need of vacuuming and spot cleaning. The room was outdated with several broken tiles on the floor in bathroom and the sink faucet was mineral coated and had good water pressure for the hot but the cold water side was a trickle. Generally fairly clean....

'Leuke plek en mooie plek. Heerlijke kamer, ruim met een lekkere douche een heel lekker bed. Lekker bier op de tap (NM Lime Lager is een aanrader) Helaas was er op een dinsdag na 19u geen eten meer te krijgen, had ik wel verwacht.'

'Booked a room the night before my stay on a very busy weekend for Albuquerque- huge balloon festival, so all the motels/hotels charged premium prices. I paid $130 for a room in Luxury Inn - at the motel in conversation, the office lady noted that they are fully booked. She gave me room 117. My sister and brother-in-law got room 207. My room had brown paint blotches on all the walls, a burnt plastic grill on the window air conditioning unit, a ripped backboard to one of the double beds and a...

'cleanest DayInn property I have ever been. Best for families'

'it is what it is. An old motel on the edge of freeway in an old part of town. Old and cheap (kind of like me) !'

'Property was kept clean and parking lot well lighted. Staff were friendly and courteous. The room is only bed/refrigerator/mini microwave. There are no extras such as coffee pot, shampoo, body wash, facial tissue, iron, etc. Bare minimum in bath/hand towels, and one wash cloth! I'm sure I could have requested additional towels. I believe there was a soda vending machine in office, no other extras! Propety is in a very poor area, Homeless people are constantly nearby. Many "street...

'For the price I was expecting a little better accommodations. The pillows are completely flat. Need two or more for comfort. Place could use touch up on paint in bathroom. Door and walls are dirty. Toilet seat not stable. Staff are kind and helpful when you need amenities but they should invest in body wash. Soap they provide leaves skin very dry.'

'The bed was very comfortable, we had a king with 4 king-size pillows! Nice to see a couple packs of makeup wipes and toothbrush with tiny toothpaste. Microwave and a good-sized refrigerator/freezer in the room. No coffee pot, bring your own if that's important. Freeway noise wasn't too bad, and the "blackout" curtains didn't stand a chance with our window facing east! But it was a nice room, clean, and friendly staff. Great location to head out in any direction, but not much for just walking in...

'Stay was booked for 5 days, stayed approx. 1 hr per hotel staff. Area is of concern if traveling solo. The word "sketchy" can be used. Hotel did do their best to solve issue. Due to location I do hope issues are corrected.'
