'Mooie maar zoals altijd in Japan relatief kleine kamers. Mooie onsen. Prachtig dakterras maar de kwaliteit van de dranken en cocktails is niet zoals het hoort op zo'n prachtig terras '

'Located in the center of multiple tourist sites. Walkable locations for sightseeing, shopping, and food. Also walkable to local train station. Easy spot for taxi to pickup if needed transportation to kyoto station or somewhere further. Walkable to many kimono rental stores with next day drop-off return service. Perfect location for planning on visiting multiple sites and return here in-between for a quick rest. Did I forget the authentic ryokan style rooms with impeccable service? Recommended...

'Beautiful accommodation with all the extras. In a great location, walking distance to the market & lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the dryer took along time to dry, but the hotel provided a clothes horse which was handy. '

'The location is perfect for walking and bus access anywhere oin Kyoto. The street is quiet, beautifully paved, with a canal and trees on one side, and the beautiful river walks on the other. It was the prettiest neighborhood we saw in Kyoto and we traveled all over! Kitchen is well equipped and staff highly responsive to whatever is needed, The rooms are large and quiet, the beds amazing, and super helpful desk staff 12 hrs per day. Great controls for temp and humidity in each room, and a serene...

'Amazingly helpful staff, very comfortable beds, clean rooms with both air-conditioning & air purifier. Less soundproof, but mostly dependent on fellow travelers whether that's a problem or not. Only slept with noise canceling headphones the first night (very light sleeper) and was perfectly fine the nights after that. '
