'We recieven a warm welcome, had an excellent room, high Quality, including fresh fruit, stunning view from terras and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet, with fresh pressed orange juice and eggs on demand. Diner also excellent. We had a wunderful time. '

'Everything was very clean and neat. The apartment was a bit outdated, however everything worked and the facilities were great. Location of the appartment is great for exploring the island (especially west-side), very central. Supermarket and small restaurant are nearby. The host was lovely, we got fruit and cake on arrival. Definitely recommend staying here!'

'We spent the last 5 days of our vacation at this property and it did not disappoint! The home was absolutely lovely and the view spectacular! The Host was extremely helpful and accommodating! The on-property parking was so very helpful, because the hills make it very stressful and difficult to park on the street. We highly recommend this property. '

'Alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.Den Gartenbereich konnte man nicht nutzen, weil die Terrasse, gegenüber gelegen, komplett mit Sperrmüll vollgestellt war und der kleine Garten sehr ungepflegt war. Der Grill war nicht nutzbar, verrostet und schmutzig.'

'Beautiful accommodation, clean, modern, and accessible to everywhere on island easily. Private infinity pool looks out on sunset and ocean. Private parking.. Booking was easy, and host/greeter very accessible. Would definitely recommend. Accommodation is hot during day (as faces south), so takes some time to cool for sleeeping.'

'Beautiful house. Incredible spot to watch the sunset from the upstairs terrace. Even in early November weather was nice enough to enjoy a dip in the pool. Did not see/interact with guests in other unit on property. Ponta do Sol is a charming town with restaurants, cafes, a market to buy groceries and a rocky beach worth visiting. Host was communicative. Would definitely go back. '

'Wer gerne Urlaub bei der einheimischen Bevölkerung macht und seine Ruhe sucht ist dort richtig. Man ist aber auch schnell auf der ER 101 und kommt überall hin auf der Insel. Uns hat es richtig gut gefallen und wir können es nur empfehlen.'

'yes, the hotel is a bit old-style but still a good value for the money. We liked the breakfast, the terrace, the spa, the bed itself ! what could be improved is the heating of the pool and the hotel could be refreshed a bit to make it a jewel'

'Quiet hotel, Magnificent studio nr. 308. (see pictures) Breakfast is good enough with diverse options like fresh fruit, omelet, yoghurt etc. Very good and customer friendly staff, Clean rooms. Only comment: bed matrasses were a little bit to firm. '

"Het was een hele fijne plek op loopafstand van de stad maar ook gelegen in een leuke wijkje. De botanische look en feel was heel fijn en het zwembad was heel mooi en super fijn. Het ontbijt was ook fantastisch. We gaan zeker ooit terugkomen. "

"We hadden een geweldig verblijf in golden residence hotel Prachtige ligging aan zee met zicht op de bergen Onze kamer had zicht op het zwembad en op de zee. Het hotel ligt niet ver van het centrum en de bussen stoppen Voor de deur. Het is op wandelafstand van forum madeira, supermarkt en eetgelegenheden. Het personeel is vriendelijk maar mocht van mij net iets enthousiaster zijn. Op vakantie hou ik wel van wat extra enthousiasme "
