Pollack Concert Hall

Clean and tidy hotel, very helpfull staff at reveptions and bellboys. Pierre at the reception desk was very accommodating. Hotelroom has bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, body cream and hand wash as well as a hair dryer, coffeemachine and fridge. All very convenient. Aircon worked well. 6 minute walk to thr basilique and to the 747 busstop (to the airport). All in all, wouls recommend.

We were very happy with our stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Montreal Downtown October 19 thru 28 with the exception of two annoyances. Overall very well managed and modern accommodations and location was great for us. We had a spacious suite and found managing the heat/cooling easy. The breakfast buffet has more than enough choices, both fresh and warm. Sadly, the doors to the rooms in our section have between 1-2inch openings at the bottom resulting in intrusive hall noise at times. Secondarily, those same doors had such a strong self-closing mechanism that the room and us shook when guests nearby would leave or arrive to their rooms. More than once on multiple mornings our sleep was interrupted. The other annoyance that causes me to write this review was after 9 nights and nearly $3000 the front desk charged us to hold our bags for 4 hours until we headed to train station. Maybe a Montreal thing but we have not had a charge like this since maybe the 90s.

De kamer was goed, locatie ook. Alleen pas echt laat inchecken en onze koffer hebben paar uur achter balie gestaan. Geen aparte ruimte. Ook een nadeel was de lift. Veel te weinig voor het aantal mensen. Moesten echt lang wachten.
