'This vacation we planned to stay a week and stayed five weeks. It has a beautiful pool and the gardens and turtle pool are amazing. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day if you want. The staff is always available. Coffee, bottled water and bathroom supplies are attended to everyday. Clean towels are given out every morning. There is a restaurant on the property which serves delicious meals. We will be returning again for several weeks.'

'We had an amazing stay at Barceló Puerto Vallarta. It was more of a quiet resort, lots of older folks and not many kids, although they did have some activities for kids. Lots of available loungers with poolside drink service. very relaxing. Food was amazing, not just bad Americanized food. Lots of drink options as well. Our room was a premium king suite that had great AC, lots of room, and was very comfortable. Only downside is the beach is small and the sand isn’t super soft so it hurt to walk...

Nice, fully furnished kitchen as well! This is not resort life by no means as you hear local children playing in the streets and the sounds of barking dogs, etc. The walk to the beach is maybe 8-10 minutes but often across rough pavements so not advised for anyone with walking or mobility issues.
