Cottages in Pennsylvania Wilds

'Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...

'Our extended family enjoyed our stay! Fixed great dinners in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Very clean and neat house, short walk down to the river. We enjoyed a Kayak trip on the river and a bike ride on a local PA Rail Trail. Communication with the host was great - highly recommended place to stay!!'

'We had five adults and a dog and we did not feel cramped. Ed was wonderful about answering our questions in preparation and greeting us when we arrived. there are so many extra little touches inside of the camper and the outside space is so beautifully designed. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved that the location was equally distant between Cook Forest and elk County. If it was raining in one location, it was clear in the other, and we always had somewhere to go. But it was also lovely...

'We spent 4 nights at creek bend cottage. It was clean and roomy with all the essentials plus extras like dog bowls, dog run liine. It was an easy drive to access points to the Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro and state parks. '

'Do to weather, our stay went from six to just the two of us. The food prep I had to do for an event was easy in the full size kitchen. '

'We stayed at this property while our son was attending his first Boy Scout camp and Camp Olmsted which was about 25 min away. We had a relaxing weekend away and did some hiking on Rimrock Overlook trail in the Allegheny National forest and went to see Kinzua Dam. Both were only a short distance from the property. Much enjoyed! '
