'This place is in a great location in downtown Panama City, Panama, but the building is infected with roaches. We had to kill at least ten roaches in the apartment that we were staying in. I messaged the host to send a exterminator, but he never did. The hot water heater also doesn't work. The hot water only stayed on for about 5 minutes, in the bathroom shower and then it was cold again. The maintenance guy came twice, but it didn't work. We took lukewarm to cold showers while we stayed there....

'The location was perfect. We were two blocks away from all the happenings for Christmas (Christmas lights, fireworks, dinner. Dessert, and Starbucks . The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had enough space to put our Christmas tree and have all the amenities of home. When I needed a grocery store, I walked three blocks and had access to a full grocery store. 'Just spent 10 nights at this property. Expectations fully met. Beach is a few feet away. Welcoming pool and social area. Furnishings, appliances, utensils were all adequate. Grocery, pharmacy and other stores are 7 mins. away. Environment conducive to a restful experience. Concierge was always available and helpful. WFI was strong, with coverage extending to the beach. No cable TV but YouTube, Peacock, Max and other apps over IP provided plenty of content. Would definitely book again.'

Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. "Het is echt een meer dan prachtig hotel van binnen, fantastische kamers, er is echt over nagedacht! Heerlijke bedden en een hele goede douche. Wat wel wat tegenviel is dat eigenlijk alles binnen is. Ik begrijp niet helemaal waarom ze niet een terras maken aan de voorkant..ook bij het zwembad is geen bar en let op, alleen in de ochtend zon (we waren in april). Ook de speakeasy was helaas dicht. Aan de overkant van hotel zitten wel paar leuke terrassen. De fitness ruimte daarentegen was wel van hoog niveau. Erg mooi. Echt wel heel fijn hotel om te verblijven met paar kanttekeningen."
