Flats in Panama

'I expected an apartment with a view and got a balcony facing a wall. A bit disappointing, but the apartment got everything you need. The bedroom “window” is facing the corridor everybody is using to get to their apartments, got very noisy at night as people were shouting. '

'This place is in a great location in downtown Panama City, Panama, but the building is infected with roaches. We had to kill at least ten roaches in the apartment that we were staying in. I messaged the host to send a exterminator, but he never did. The hot water heater also doesn't work. The hot water only stayed on for about 5 minutes, in the bathroom shower and then it was cold again. The maintenance guy came twice, but it didn't work. We took lukewarm to cold showers while we stayed there....

'We had a very enjoyable stay at Playa Caracol. The unit was in excellent condition and well stocked with essentials. We suffered a number of service interruptions because of loss of electricity and internet. But these were suffered by all people at the resort. The property manager, Juan Bethancourth was an excellent help and helped immediately any time we had a problem. There was one major drawback - namely - the road from the main highway to the resort. 'The condo was adequate but very poorly outfitted with essentials. Had no internet for 6 days and the owner/property manager refused to answer our texts and emails and VRBO was not the least helpful. Never heard back from either one once the issue was resolved by a technician. No aplology. '

'Very quiet and clean condo with stunning views of the Gulf of Panama and ships waiting to enter the Panama Canal, and the rain forest surrounding the Playa Bonita condo complex and Westin hotel. Convenient grocery shopping near by and easy drive to Panama City (although traffic over the Bridge of the Americas was often congested). The rooftop pool was nice and convenient for our purposes.
