B&B in Bocas del Toro

'We choose this accommodation after reading the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The accommodation is worn out, the room and especially the bathroom was very filthy. We were given a tour and the communal kitchen was also filthy. The mattress of the bed was also rock hard. We checked in and left immediately.'

'We had a great stay here. Angie is lovely and made us feel very welcome. Facilities are fine including beer in the fridge and honesty box, and good choice of breakfast on the west-facing terrace on stilts out to the bay. We borrowed some bikes and cycled along to Bluff playa, which was practically deserted, but had good lunch places. Worth noting that Bocas is undergoing a major upgrade to their water, drainage and roads when we were there (April 2024) which meant the town was a bit chaotic,...

'prachtige accomodatie op een mooie locatie. wel belangrijk om te weten is dat de locatie is gelegen op 7 a 8 km van het dorpje met restaurants en bars. in de directe omgeving van het hotel is de keuze voor bars en restaurants zeer beperkt. Om naar het dorpje te gaan is dus een taxi nodig. lopen is te ver. fietsen zou kunnen maar is niet aan te raden ivm slechte kwaliteit van weg (zandpad met kuilen) ook is de weg niet verlicht. 'It’s was just what we were looking for. Not the hustle and bustle of city. It was up in the hill and we loved it!! If your going power goes out a lot on the island so bring flashlights! Overall great place! Car taxi can’t make the hill. So get a bus or truck taxi. Good times. '

'A gem of a place in stunningly beautiful natural surroundings. Staff and owner are wonderful: super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We loved every minute and stayed for longer than we planned (which the owner and staff were kind enough to accommodate). We will definitely be coming back!'

'Nice quiet place close to the beach. You hear the crashing waves. The hostess serves a great homemade breakfast every morning. Only a few rooms so you meet and talk with them all. Three restaurants within walking distance. Only minus that its a bit isolated. Bocas town is only 10 km away but the road along the beach is so bad it takes at least 30 minutes. Taxi cost 15 dollar (20 to the airport for some reason)'

'This property was exactly as advertised. The beach is probably understated as it is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen to date. The hosts were extremely responsive, informative, and willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in a unique, remote experience.'

'This property is set within the beautiful jungle/beach area of Bluff Beach on Bocas Del Toro. The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The caretakers were very hospitable and available to help with whatever you needed help with. My husband and I received a massage from their recommended massage therapist and it was wonderful!
