Welcome to our little piece of heaven on earth, our quiet beach Oasis located at Silver Silver Strand Beach. This property is perfect for large families to get together and share one large home without feeling crammed. The whole house has 3 floors with the 3rd floor having a separate entrance. It features beautiful new wood flooring throughout the kitchen and family rooms with plush couches, new paint and new mouldings. We also added sound proof baffles in the ceiling below to shield the top floor from sound from the floor below. The kitchen features white cabinets with new granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is equipped with Coffee maker, all the necessary dinnerware, silverware, stemware and pots and pans needed. All 7 bedrooms have new beds and bedding throughout with newer carpet. There are also sliding doors to let in gentle ocean breezes in 2 of the 3 bedrooms on the top floor.

The house comes with a garage full of toys. Ping pong table, beach chairs, bikes and more.


We also have the 1st and 2nd floor 2,400 square foot unit below that is a 4 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath with granite counter tops and stainless appliances and hardwood floors throughout the entire unit that is also available to rent for smaller families to enjoy.

Silver Strand is a QUIET exclusive beach community located in Oxnard/Channel Islands.
1) The maximum permitted occupancy during daytime is 16 and 10 at night.
2) Quiet hours shall be observed between 10:00 PM and 7 AM
3) No outdoor amplified music or sound during quiet hours.
4) The property cannot be used for events that exceed the applicable occupancy or guest limits, or that violate quiet hours, and noise standards or any other standard or requirement of this section.
5) The available onsite parking is 3 spaces and street parking is discouraged.
6) County issued Short Term Rental Permit # TRU 24-0075 and County Business Tax Certification # 8820

(We do ask you keep the noise down after 10 pm. Most of the neighbors live there full time and work during the week.) Silver Strand stretches between Channel Islands Harbor and Port Hueneme Harbor.
"The Strand" as locals call it, is a mile long level white sandy beach and has a reputation for world renowned surfing, boogie boarding, wind surfing and paddle boarding. It is considered to be the best surfing beach in Ventura County, along with a kiddy beach that is roped off and safe for small children. Clam digging and surf fishing is allowed with a fishing license from the nearby bait and tackle store. Day long fishing trips to the Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands are also available.
One of the best parts of Silver Strand Beach is that it is not crowded like you will find at neighboring beaches. It is very serene and peaceful. Full beach access is just five houses away a mere 1 minute walk to the sand. The Channel Islands Harbor, which is also walking/biking distance, offers rentals for kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, boats, and specialty bikes as well as restaurants and entertainment. Every Sunday, it is also home to a Farmers Market where you can enjoy music, food and buy fresh produce and seafood. There are even opportunities to visit 5 of the Channel Islands for some hiking, kayaking, whale watching and more. If you want to venture outside of our neighborhood, we are in close proximity to Ventura, Carpenteria, Santa Barbara, Malibu and Santa Monica... other beach Communities that have unique offerings. For shopping options, The Camarillo Outlet Mall and The Collection in Oxnard provide a large array of shops, restaurants and also movie theaters.
Within 3 blocks walking distance is Quincy's, a family restaurant and bar, The Jetty Surf cafe for excellent Mediterranean food, Pepe's Famous Tacos stand and the Corner Market for quick needed items. A short car ride to the other side of the Channel Islands Harbor will bring you to Mrs. Olson's Cafe(Voted one of the best 59 breakfast places in America by Esquire Magazine). If pizza is your thing Toppers Pizza or Pizza Man Dan delivers to your door in minutes.
Whatever you crave to eat, we have it. The myriad of restaurants that are found in this area are wonderful or if you prefer to cook just pick up your groceries as we have some of the freshest produce in the country. Often grown right here in Ventura County.

This property had amazing location just minutes from a beautiful, quiet beach. The property was well- stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds were very comfortable and made up with quality linens. The kitchen was supplied with plenty of dishes, glassware, pots and pans, etc. One of our party accidentally unplugged the router and when we contacted the property manager about the lack of internet he responded promptly and we discovered the problem. Our party of 16 used the entire property and would definitely rent it again.

Spacious Beach Getaway

We had a great stay! The rooms were so spacious. Everyone had plenty of room to escape to when it was time to go to bed. The kids used the upstairs living area to play on there PS5. The downstairs living area was used for the main dining and hangout area. We loved the ping pong table and all of the beach toys. We used the beach chairs and paddle boards. I got a chance to do some sand sculpting while the kids played football in the sand. We got some great pictures of the sunset with the family. We played a whole lot of games. We celebrated New Year’s by playing “Minute to Win It” games with prizes. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The countertop was perfect for setting out food, snacks, and treats. We all appreciated how well the hot water supply was. We also enjoyed the use of the outdoor shower after going to the beach. The outdoor bbq was great for cooking burgers. We are a close family. That being said, whether in the main living room or spread out throughout the house, we had a fantastic time!Thank you for supplying us with a great vacation!!

Paradise

BEST VACATION EVER. We were 12, each as happy as we could possibly be! The house works so well with privacy for everyone. The beds are so comfy, the linens lovely to see, even better to touch. Gary was so understanding and helpful. Always responding within minutes. Imagine! The house is paradise for children--the garage full of toys. GREAT toys, that is--piles of just what the kids want for the beach. Enough of everything big--bikes and paddle boards. With this many people, keeping everything clean can be hard. NOT in this house. No fussy rugs, no complicated directions for anything. You just move in and are absolutely at home. The kitchen has enough of EVERYTHING. A huge stack of plates for example! The upstairs apartment gave our one worker lots of privacy, the two little ones lots of quiet for naps and early bedtime. The beach! So close. So beautiful! We did brave the waves a bit. We look forward to body surfing and paddle boarding another time. Indeed there is so much to look forward to. I want to book again--same time, same place. Paradise!

Accommodations close to beach

We had a mini family reunion over the week of Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for everyone. The main kitchen is very tight for large gatherings. The oven was too small for a turkey, but thankfully the upper kitchen on the third floor had a standard range/oven, as well as a second full sized refrigerator. The house is in walking distance of the beach which was wonderful for running our grandsons (there is no yard at all at the house). There are also activities close by for kids that are free…like the Naval Base STEP program with hands on activities and a museum (yes, this is free!). The only downside to this property is parking. You can easily get three cars in the driveway. We were able to pull our shorter vehicles closer to the house and park one car sideways behind them. Otherwise you have to park down the street along a canal/chain length fence. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the house. It was picked up and quasi clean but the drawers had food in them under the utensils (not just a few crumbs), hand rails are sticky in the stairwell, and all the cabinets needed to be wiped out. The sofas and carpets need a good cleaning as well.

Perfect for our large family!

The house is great when you have a large group of family staying. We stayed here for my daughter's wedding in Camarillo. The only possible thing that could be updated is the ironing boards. Most of the time ,if just on vacation you wouldn't even need an ironing board though! Really everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again if we ever visit the area.

We were older adults so the stairs were a bit challenging and lots of them. But if an active family, lots of great beach toys, bikes, boards and ping pong table. Can't say enough!

We have stayed at this location twice now, and I cannot say enough about it! It fits our large family gathering as we can rent the apartment upstairs and still have the stairway inside the house to make it feel like we are all together in one beautiful home. It is always clean, and just about everything we need is there (we brought our own crockpot and Keurig). The dining room table is big enough for us all to gather round and play games, or have a meal together, and the living room fits us all as well, if were in the mood for a movie night. The bedrooms have a nice breeze and the beds are comfortable. They are large enough to fit the needs of parents with small children using cribs or playpens. All in all, our vacation was relaxing and full of family fun! If you are looking for a vacation in a sleepy little town, this is the place for you!

Perfect beach getaway.

The house was perfect for our group of three generations of two families. The bedrooms were spacious and well furnished. It was a big bonus to have so many beach necessities available. The "toys" were appropriate for all the age groups we had, 10-68 years old. We appreciate the generosity of the owners to provide plenty of beach towels and chairs. We had a perfect beach getaway without having to bring all the equipment needed.

The best place for a large family gathering!

We were a group of 12 ranging from 1 to 70. This house was perfect for us. We used the top apartment for the older family members as we thought that would give them a place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of the day and catch a cat nap during the day. It worked out perfectly! The outdoor shower was a lifesaver and helped immensly with keeping sand out of the house. We found the kitchen equipped with most of the necessities and plenty of dishes and silverware for all. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. . The recreational items in the garage were awesome and there was more than expected to use ~ we thoroughly enjoyed ping pong! The washer and dryer was a plus! The house was very close to the sand and the everyone came and went all day long and we ended each day watching the sunset over the ocean. Our vacation was exquisite and our stay was wonderful. This is the place for you if you want a peaceful vacation with very little traffic and an uncrowded beach to spend your time on!

Well-appointed house, perfect for large group

This house is great for a large group-maybe multigenerational or multiple families wanting to rent something together. The living space and kitchen is open to each other. There is a large dining table. The bedrooms are so gigantic! Plenty of room for everyone and everything. The garage has lots of fun things to borrow-boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes, sand toys, etc. oh Super close to the beach!

60th Birthday

We rented the whole house and had plenty of room for all of us. The downstairs area was perfect for meals and playing games. It was overcast and a little rainy so we didn't take advantage of all of the beach toys or bikes but maybe next time. The neighborhood was quite and all of the neighbors that we had contact with were very friendly. The house was well stocked. No real yard but that worked out perfectly having more space inside and the beach was a 2 minute walk away for outdoor activities. The BBQ is gas and worked great! Overall simply a great experience!

Family Get Away

This property was perfect for us! We were traveling to places between Simi Valley and Malibu and this was the perfect place to stay. Great location literally a minute from the beach which was gorgeous with nice white sand, very clean, and beautiful views. The house was sparkling clean and very roomy. There were 6 of us and the accommodations were perfect. Nice appliances and cooking area with granite countertops. Very quiet neighborhood with that beach town feel. We enjoyed our stay very much. No complaints what so ever! Will definitely stay here again!

Great get-away close to Los Angeles

A great apartment (though it's 27 steps to get up there) with plenty of space. Some initial confusion with the shared parking, however, the owners worked diligently to remedy the situation. The downstairs tenants claimed they had not been informed that one of the spaces was intended for the upstairs apartment (hard to believe because it's posted and included in the paperwork!). Our granddaughter left behind a small item that was "precious" to her and the owners and the cleaning ladies went out of their way to retrieve the item and get it back to us. Overall - a very enjoyable stay!!!!
