'Das angenehmste Hotel seit langen! Das Zimmer mit Doppelbett ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Wände bestehen aus Granitsteinen, die sehr sauber verarbeitet sind. Die Fenster lassen sich mit Innen-Fensterladen verdunkeln. Das Haupthaus war früher eine Wassermühle. Der Bach fließt unverändert idyllisch über das Grundstück. 'I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago Pros: -The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early -The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious) Cons: -You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception...

'Very nice hotel in a beautiful historic building. Staff was polite. Big rooms and comfortable beds. There's a cafeteria and a restaurant which served delicious meals. The only thing I missed was complimentary water in the room, otherwise all was perfect.'

'After a long cold and rainy day on the Camino, Manuel picked us up in town. This was a life saver as we were so wet and cold from the walk. Upon arrival there was a welcoming fire and coffee and cookies. We felt right at home. We were the only guest so we were able to enjoy the family room by the fire all evening.
