Ryokans in Oost-Osaka

'I absolutely loved the traditional Japanese room with the private outdoor bath. While it can only fit one person it’s so relaxing to be out there amongst the bamboo hillside. The hotel staff here really go above and beyond helping you with baggage, shuttle to the train station, explaining, and giving restaurant recommendations. The dinner unfortunately was full as I booked somewhat last minute. Some of the town restaurants closed up a little early on Saturday but the recommended izakaya was...

'The location is beautiful and serene, the staff takes great care of you. They serve a wonderful Japanese breakfast, and are nestled right along the river in the park. It’s a short hike to the waterfall, and also down to minoh station, to connect you to the rest of Osaka. Finally, when your day is done they have an amazing private spa, which comes as part of the experience. It includes a hot spa bath, shower, and sauna, that really complement the location and help you relax. '

'Prima voor 1 of 2 nachten. Wij missen de ruimte om vrij buiten de Ryokan te wandelen. Dat is door de weg waaraan het is gelegen niet mogelijk. Wel is er een shuttle bus die op vaste tijden van en naar het centrum van Nara gaat. Verder zou ik iedereen aanraden die geen ervaring heeft met een Ryokan je te verdiepen in een dergelijk verblijf met alle gebruiken. Maaltijden heerlijk, uitgebreid en veel. Avondtour naar de top van de berg was prachtig.'
