'We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, especially with the beatuiy lake nearby. The cabin was clean, comfortable We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening. The host was also very kind and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home, We would definitely recommend it to anyone. '

'Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. 'We had a wonderful stay at this Cozy Cabin in Black Bear Resort. The location was fantastic. We loved the woodsy atmosphere, peace and quiet and ability to walk around the grounds. Being so close to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley parks was ideal. The cabin is very clean, the kitchen is perfect and the bed is comfy. We were happy campers. Thank you for a great visit.'

'Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. 'Property was spectacular, the view was impressive. Everything you need in a home away from home, the area is filled with nature! Many hikes and exploring then back to the house to relax and take in the awesome view. Short ride to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks. Very comfortable accommodations, we travel with our pups at least 2-3 times a year somewhere different and always stay at a VRBO home, this home was o e of the very best!'

'This was a perfect getaway. Despite it being close to a road, it felt very private and quiet. From the view, to the hot tub, the robes (it's the little touches), projector movie night, heated bathroom floors, Bluetooth soundbar, and much more. It all amounted to a great overnight stay.
