The Space:

Cold mountain air drifts through the trees as you arrive, the quiet broken only by the rustle of leaves and the distant shimmer of Alpine Lake. Mornings feel unhurried here—coffee warming your hands while the woods sit calm outside, and evenings invite you to gather close around the fire pit and settle into the rhythm of a true four‑season retreat. Inside, the cabin’s warm glow and the scent of pine create a cozy haven after a day of snow‑capped adventures.



Sleeping arrangements

The cabin sleeps six. A loft houses a queen bed and its own full bathroom, offering a quiet space set slightly apart. On the main level, the first bedroom provides a queen bed and a twin bed, while the second bedroom contains a twin bed. A second full bathroom serves the main floor.



Indoor living

Heating runs throughout the cabin, and portable air conditioning is available for milder days. The living area features a TV, Wi‑Fi (which may be slower or spotty given the remote setting), and a dedicated workspace behind a door for focused work or study. Bathroom essentials and extra pillows and blankets are provided for cooler nights.



Kitchen & dining

A fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare breakfast before a walk to the lake or a hearty dinner after exploring the snow‑covered trails. A dining table seats the whole group, and the space is designed for comfortable, extended stays.

An 18‑hole golf course sits nearby, with tee times arranged separately.

The cabin sits in Terra Alta, West Virginia, within easy reach of Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Ski Resort—about a 40‑minute drive for day trips to ski slopes or winter sightseeing. Quiet forest roads and seasonal activities shift naturally with the weather, offering both solitude and adventure.
