'Een hotel ligt aan erg drukke weg, deed geen oog dicht. De foto's deden mij anders vermoeden. Voorts heeft het hotel geen faciliteiten, heb ik geen magnetron aangetroffen op de kamer en was de stoel bij het dressoir ronduit smerig. In het bed kon je de veren voelen, hoewel het comfort liggend wel te doen was. Belangrijk vind ik altijd de douche, lekker wakker worden. De temperatuur was niet goed in te stellen met de twee aparte handles en de vast douchekop hangt ter hoogte van de borst. Douchen...

'We had a fantastic stay at The Barnsdale, such a beautiful, relaxing and picturesque venue. We enjoyed use of the spa, which is beautifully done, small and intimate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was delicious with fabulous service and breakfast was just as delicious, with lots of choice and was well organised. All staff were very polite and helpful, especially the lovely lady on reception. The welcome glass of wine on arrival was such a lovely touch. Only disappointment was that the king...
