Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. 'De kamers zijn onberispelijk, het personeel en nieuwe eigenaren Allison en Graham zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het ontbijt was een prima English breakfast met voldoende keuze. Koffie was goed! Wij gebruikten de locatie als uitvalsbasis naar Holy Island en de Northumbrian coastline. Het strand waaraan dit hotel ligt - Spittal beach - is niet echt bijzonder. De stad zelf is historisch prachtig met zijn bruggen en stadsmuur. '

'This was our second stay at the bistro Check in was quick and staff friendly and very helpful Beds are very comfy and I love you can make a cuppa in the morning you can pay for a breakfast in the morning in the bistro which I can say was very nice This is a very nice place to stay & the village is lovely with a good selection of pubs Never disappointed '

'Een eenvoudige B&B. Kamer en Badkamer zijn schoon. De kamer is ouderwets, het bed redelijk, de badkamer netjes. Er staat een waterkoker met thee en oploskoffie en een koelkast met melk. Je kan 's morgens als ontbijt cornflakes met melk eten. Er is geen gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Ik stond wat verloren in het halletje te wachten of er iemand kwam om in te checken. De B&B ligt aan een doorgaande weg, hier heb je geen last van. Aan de achterkant waar ik sliep (1 persoonskamer) staan nog diverse...
