'Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more. Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security...

'Just want to point out accessibility issues not highlighted on property description: Very steep hill from the car park up to the tents and then further up to the toilets and cabin, slippery in the rain and beds are mattresses on the floor. Beautiful location, tents cozy despite bad weather and all slept well.'

'This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. 'Fantastic nights stay in the peacocks Shepards hut! wish we were staying longer and will definitely be back! small and secluded with beautiful views! friendly hosts. We had everything we needed. used the fire pit with fresh fire wood kindly provided.Highlight was waking up and seeing all the animals! '
