The hotel could not do enough for us, including nightly breakfast bags to take with us early in the morning so we did not go hungry & a box of doggo goodies including 2 x bowls, meat flavoured beer, salmon treats & a new tennis ball. 'A great starting point to visit Cornwall because the atlactic and southern coast lines as well as the western part of Dartmore National Park are reachable within an our (of so) by car. Jamaica Inn is sometimes crowded and busy probably because all sorts of people visit it, but the real pub fealing is always present.
