« The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older... »

« Truly one of the best stays of all my travels. It was personalised to every detail, from the moment we entered as we got to chose our welcome drink to the luggage delivery service with extra attention in the end. The location was precious, very historical and quite private, while the amenities were unexpectedly very modern. The staff were beyond adorable and extremely helpful; Shinyi and Sae are very caring and we already miss them! Having the breakfast served in the room was also great. This...

« This hotel is amazing! The room was very nice, and they make a great experience for travellers in the reception area. It’s walkable distance to a lot of sightseeing areas, and otherwise had a metro station and bus stops next door that can take you anywhere. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again! »

« Property itself is new and clean with good location. However, the room we received had only a frosted window with no outlook. Further, upon check-in, as I’d accidentally made a booking for one instead of two, I was made to pay a supplement. While I accept this, I was charged twice the rate the hotel was advertising on the same day for the same room, making it among the more expensive properties in Higashiyama. Further, they then excluded breakfast from this supplement, in effect doubling the...
