'My room was modern, clean, with a bar fridge and makings for a cuppa, the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms down the squeey old beautiful wooden floor were modern and clean. Overall, a lovely urgent one-night stay. Oh, and the staff were lovely. Only comment: the space under the door could do with a Raven slip to stop the very bright corridor lights at night. Thank you.'

'I was there in very cold weather and I could not get the heat pump any hotter to warm the room up. The nice lady in reception said she'd get the man to fix it the next day, but when he looked at it (I had to go back) he said you had to turn the fan up onto full which didn't make much difference. However she did loan me a small heater that helped a lot, which I kept to the end of my stay. Rooms were not serviced after three days, we had to request clean towels.'

They upgraded my room for free, I enquired about possibly long term stay and we came to an agreement for a fixed price per week and the price was very good, they also give you a free choice of a soft drink when checking in, they also recommend a pub that was close by for decent meals, 10/10 The rooms are amazing in terms of what you get, the fridge is one of the bigger smaller versions, alot of other places have small...

Please be mindful that folk who book into "retreats" don't want to hear your voice 2. Don't want to see or hear your children. 3. Indeed not suitable for children as there are monsters and wolves and other creatures that will steal them away in the night. '

'Appalling accommodation. Nothing like the photos or description. The room was dusty, the toilet dirty and the TV didn’t work. I rang the managing agent several times and they passed on messages to the owners but no one responded. I was given the owners number but they wouldn’t answer. We had no TV for our whole 8 night stay. My wife cleaned the toilet, bathroom and kitchen and I dusted the furniture. We were given a partial refund after checking out but do yourself a favour and go somewhere...
