Primary bedroom (on main floor - no stairs needed): CAL KING bed; fireplace; two-person shower and a Japanese soaking tub; private balcony with jumbo jacuzzi & stunning ocean views.

"The Sunrise" bedroom: Queen bed, private balcony with forest views and backyard access, plus optional desk with monitor and ergonomic chair.

"The Garden" bedroom: Queen bed, optional work-from-home station or baby crib.

Family Room (ROOM INTERIOR):
• French Doors opening to balcony with sweeping views of Carmel hills and the beach.
• Inside is 60" Smart TV with Chromecast, Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube TV subscription.

Family Room (BALCONY):
• Al fresco dining with comfortable seating for 6 people. (Table can fit 8 if you want to get cozy!)
• Electric BBQ, all grilling utensils provided.
• Lounge area on corner sectional sofa.

Grand Living Room:
• Wood-burning fireplace
• Breathtaking views of ocean, forest, and hills.
• Expandable Chippendale dining table can easily seat 14 people. 🍽️
• Optional Murphy bed in semi-private space (as the room is on its own floor).
• Additional Pottery Barn Comfort pull-out sofa bed with plush Queen-size Tempur-Pedic mattress.

Kitchen (main floor): Stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, touch-screen Breville Barista Deluxe espresso machine, gas stove, oven, microwave, double-door refrigerator with ice maker, freezer.

Q: What is the coffee situation?
A: We have a very high-end espresso machine (with superb milk frothing), a conical burr coffee bean grinder, a French Press, as well as standard coffee maker and a tea kettle. We promise satisfaction for your caffeine fixation! ☕

Q: What's the pet policy? 🐕
A: We allow up to 2 adult dogs of any breed or size. (No puppies!) We do have a standard Pet Fee of $200. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. And your dogs will 💛 our expansive backyard, with easy direct access from both bedroom balconies!

Q: Can I bring the kiddos?
A: Children ages 2-12 are generally not allowed due to the fine art in the house and other breakable artifacts. However, we DO welcome babies and teenagers. For babies — we also provide a very nice crib, and a baby gate by the stairs.

Q: Can you hear noise from Highway 1?”
A: No, most days highway noise cannot be heard. There are some very rare exceptions, but day-to-day traffic is generally not audible inside the house.

Q: Is Highway 1 within view of the house?
A: No, thankfully it is not within view. All you will see is the lovely Carmel forest, the ocean, the Carmel Valley hills, and Point Lobos in the distance. 🌲⛰️🌊

Q: Do you ever allow events?
A: YES. We welcome small daytime events, including baby showers, bridal showers, small birthday parties, and micro-weddings. 👶👰🎂
- If *all* the guests for the event are already on your overnight reservation, there is no need to request special permission.
- If there will be additional daytime guests (i.e. people who are not on the overnight reservation), please do reach out to us at time of booking. A small venue fee may apply. We would be happy to help coordinate any overflow parking, set up for additional seating, décor, etc.
