'The property was beautiful and obviously old. Our original room was cold ( windows open) and the small wall heater was slow to heat. We upgraded and such a difference. Beautiful and spacious. Again a small wall heater was ineffective in heating the room, but we were provided a small space heater.'

'First time visiting and overall enjoyed the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Would definitely return! We didn’t love the restaurant that is off-property (15 mins away) The Cedars at Dungeness. Food was just okay but we had a wonderful server named Sarah.'

'The hotel check in gal went above and beyond to help us when we checked in for the night. She offered to make us hot water in her personal teapot so we could enjoy a cup of tea. Very nice!!'

'Great historic place with lots of character and in perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff.'

'We were greeted by Joe at the front desk. Joe was very helpful and provided tips on places to visit locally. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.'

'Building itself and updated decor was very charming. The employees were helpful and gracious. Lodge rooms above the restaurant smell strongly of cooked steak etc all night long but was otherwise cozy and comfortable.'

'Ontbijt was fantastisch. Kamer ruim en goed verzorgd.'

'Cozy room with very good bed. Temperature control was a bit difficult but manageable. I could have called the reception to help me with it (as was noted next to the remote) but I was too tired and slept well anyway.'
