'It was excellent! For the price of a hostel dorm, you have a room with hot showers and hot food made whenever you request it (within the breakfast schedule). I understand why other reviews were saying it’s damp - but you’re in a rainforest.. it’s going to be humid. Staff was really friendly and very accommodating! 'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '

'Overall the property was great and I would definitely stay here again when I return to Machu Picchu. I was really happy with this hotel. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Not many amenities provided but this is understandable being we are in the mountains. Staff was very nice and helpful. 'Net hotel, met basis voorzieningen op 3 sterren niveau. Leuk & goed personeel. Goede ligging t.a.v. station en bus naar Machu Picchu. Hotel relatief duur t.a.v. de voorzieningen, zoals de meeste hotels in Machu Picchu, je betaalt voor de locatie dichtbij het wereld wonder. '

'One of the best hotels we stayed in Peru. Room is clean, beds are comfy. Hotel staff is very helpful and very nice. They will do everything to accommodate your needs, according to your travel plans - visiting citadel or going hiking. Breakfast was good! And it is on the 7th floor terrace, so you’ll have a nice view. I would definitely recommend staying there. 150-200m from train station. '
