'My husband and I loved everything about this place. It was super clean and had thoughtful touches. Alot of effort went in to making sure this place is top notch; you will not be disappointed. We highly recommend making a 20 minute drive to the Hext Trading Post in Menard for some great burgers and enjoyable conversation and don't forget breakfast at the Willow Creek Cafe. The perfect ending to our stay was the deer in the yard the next morning. '

'Lynn and Jerry's ADORABLE home exceeded any expectations we had. From the minute you drive up, you are greeted by hundreds of butterflies and Texas flowers. Entering the cottage, the unique decor which is more than comfortable makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would ever need, bathroom is large with fluffy towels and bathrobes. 'This house was the cutest and coziest place to stay! It’s a really close to a lot of great places on Main St. the only downside is be aware that if you drive to go to dinner, people going to the bar out back might park in the guest parking. '

'We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The house is very well maintained and had everything we might need! The hosts are incredible and responsive if anything came up. And when they warn about the stickers on the walk to the lake, they aren’t joking! Those stickers are awful. But overall, we had a really great time. It ended up raining pretty much the whole time we were there, but we made great use of the card games that were provided! Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!'
