The property is located in a very convenient location that allowed us to get around and explore Lisbon very easily. However, the walk up to the apartment is located in an area where people seem to be using the street as a washroom and it smells terrible. I understand that this is not the fault of the property owner and we frequently saw police officers trying their best to keep people away from the area, but I think it's important to mention to prepare yourself for the smell. Once you enter the property, it looks to be well maintained and very pretty but be careful on the stairs as they are not all the same height. Inside the apartment was very dusty, likely due to construction going on around the building. The construction starts promptly at 8am from Monday-Friday so early risers will not be bothered. The bed and pillows were very comfortable so we always got a good night's sleep. There was a very strong sewer/mould smell that came from the bathroom and we needed to keep the window open and door shut during our stay to keep the smell at bay. The shower has excellent water pressure but the doors do not shut all the way so the washroom gets quite wet while you shower. When on vacation, you're not typically spending much time in the apartment so we didn't find it difficult to work around these issues and managed to have a great time because we were so close to all of the best restaurants, attractions and city centre.
