'The welcome was great Christine called me on the way to let us know the restaurant finished at 8pm. The food was hot and very well cooked and the breakfasts good. The rooms were clean and spacious. Well worth a visit.'

'A lovely stay. We were warmly greeted and told our room was ready for us, hours before check in time. Had a delicious lunch and breakfast both of which were good value. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would stay there again in we are ever in the area again.'

'A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub.'

'Great value! If I had to pick a fault, the only one would be the pub doesn’t sell food! Would stay again.'

'Prima kamers boven een pub. Een beetje lawaaierig. Ontbijt moest je avond ervoor bestellen, was ok, niet super, maar goed genoeg. Personeel is vriendelijk en correct. Minpunt was de douche, deze was erg klein (nog nooit zo klein gezien) en de watertemperatuur bleef op en neer gaan, van warm (te warm) naar koud.'

'Het bed was net een hangmat, we kwamen er smorgens gebroken uit. Het avond eten was super. De kok die het ontbijt voor ons moest maken was net 4 dagen in dienst en maakte voor het eerst ontbijt, dat was te merken, want de koffie leek meer op thee, de melk voor in de koffie zat niet in een melkkannetje, maar in een espresso kopje waar het stof nog in zat en wat dus boven op de.melk bleef drijven. Na wat instructies heeft hij toch een goede kan koffie kunnen zetten en heeft hij erg zijn best...

'I would like to point out that this property is not in Grantham but in South Witham, Grantham. This makes a great deal of difference and took us much longer to find and right out of our way. I suggest you correct this. The address given by you takes you to different part of the area and is confusing. So please correct it and add South Witham to the full address. '
