'Het bed was net een hangmat, we kwamen er smorgens gebroken uit. Het avond eten was super. De kok die het ontbijt voor ons moest maken was net 4 dagen in dienst en maakte voor het eerst ontbijt, dat was te merken, want de koffie leek meer op thee, de melk voor in de koffie zat niet in een melkkannetje, maar in een espresso kopje waar het stof nog in zat en wat dus boven op de.melk bleef drijven. Na wat instructies heeft hij toch een goede kan koffie kunnen zetten en heeft hij erg zijn best...

'It was a well run property, with all that we needed for a short stay while visiting relatives in the area. The room was cleaned and made up everyday with a lovely tea tray. The only reccomendations we would make would be a few small maintenance issues needing some attention to detail.'

'Prima kamers boven een pub. Een beetje lawaaierig. Ontbijt moest je avond ervoor bestellen, was ok, niet super, maar goed genoeg. Personeel is vriendelijk en correct. Minpunt was de douche, deze was erg klein (nog nooit zo klein gezien) en de watertemperatuur bleef op en neer gaan, van warm (te warm) naar koud.'

'Very good overnight stay, room was clean & comfortable, had the large bathroom all to myself. The bar had a good range of beers and friendly locals made for good company. About a 10minute walk to the Cathedral & Castle so was very happy with the location. I would definitely stay again when I next visit Lincoln.'

'A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub.'

'This was a room in a house in a residential area of Boston. It seemed to have been newly converted to “hotel” accommodation with 4 key safes on the wall. There was a small shared kitchen and a dining room for 4. Our room was small but adequate with a double bed and en-suite. Check in was by ringing a phone and being given your room number and key safe code. It worked well, the interaction was friendly and helpful and we were allowed access at 2.30.
