'We spent 1 night at this traditional Japanese inn. Our room was great and it was a wonderful experience to stay somewhere with tatami mats and sleep on futons. 'Everything was amazing, food and staff accomodation was absolutely top notch. The public open air bath was so relaxing, also equipped with a sauna and an ice cold bath. We also had the room with private open air bath and the view to the outside was amazing from the bath. Also has free shuttle to and from the closest train station (Ikeda Station) all you have to do is just make reservation with front desk. There are beautiful hikes nearby as well.'

'The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.'
