« On the plus size this is a truely unique location and the people that converted this space from a dull 1970s BT building to a cool house should be applauded. It's a perfect getaway location and you're truely isolated (in a good way) but with lots of great walks and places to explore. We really enjoyed all the smuggling past nearby. Things which could be improved - this clearly was a labour of love which needs reinventing. You can feel it's all a bit tired - equipment that no longer functions,...

« Very happy with the house, cleanliness, equipment and communication. Great location with all amenities close to hand. I would definitely recommend booking this house. The only thing I would change is I would install an outside light, as it is dark when returning at night. »

« Nicky and Chris' place was perfect for our four day getaway. It was extremely comfortable, and the lovely garden provided a cool and shady wonderland for our 2yr old. The cottage is a short drive to the beach and other attractions, with grocery store quite close. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this delightful place. »

« Lovely hostess (Pauline) very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to eat, all of which were excellent with regard to food & atmosphere. The location of the Barn is very central and nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes away (traffic permitting). Highly recommended! »

« We enjoyed being on the Isle of Wight. Our place was clean and very quiet. Check in was very easy. We visited The Needles, Shanklin Chine, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Osborne House. We loved it all! »

« Lovely cottage in a quiet and convenient location in Bembridge. Well equipped property with very comfortable beds. A short walk into the village and onwards to the beach and harbour. Communication with the hosts Daisy and Emily was excellent and the check in and out process very clear. Would book again if returning to Bembridge. »

« A good venue for two adults of advancing years or a family with two young children otherwise it might be a little tight in accommodation and facilities »

« We had a lovely stay in April. House is full of luxury touches and has amazing views from the living room and balcony. Very close to Ventnor sea-front. »

« The Grain store was perfect for our stay. The access to the Red Squirrel trail was a real bonus for dog walking. Ideal location for getting out and about and very comfortable accommodation. The Peacock wandering around was a surprise! »

« Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather. Hope to come back one day … »

« Such a beautiful place to stay with thoughtful touches like an extra stairgate added for our little one and a high chair which we were very grateful for! There was also a crib but we had brought our own. The house was beautifully clean and so welcoming and only a 10 minute drive from Freshwater bay. The whole stay was peaceful and quiet and we had a lovely time! »
