Location gîtes et cottages à Sandown

« Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. The location was great in Seaview, walking distance to the sea with some lovely eating places...

« Was a warm, well equipped house. Nice view. »

« Lovely house and will stay again - just missing some small touches like washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel which we are used to in most Air B & B we stay at - almost like a small welcome pack. Location wise was perfect for us - local pub and lovely beach all within walking distance. »

« We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

« We'd thoroughly recommend this property, where you have everything you need (and more) for a week or two away from home. Very dog friendly, and just a short walk from a lovely park and onto a long, sandy beach where the dogs had a whale of a time. A good sized and secure back garden, and views over The Solent towards the mainland. We can not fault this property. »

« We had a wonderful stay at 1 Apse Castle Cottage — a beautiful, character-filled retreat nestled in peaceful woodland. The cottage is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm, with a cozy log burner, luxurious bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy, and everything felt welcoming and homely. The location is ideal for exploring Shanklin and the wider Isle of Wight. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly it was — our pup loved it! Truly a magical place. We’d...

« Perfect holiday home, located just a short drive from Shanklin. The beautiful garden and attention to detail really made our holiday complete Jan was a really lovely host and very helpful. There was only myself , husband , my mom and our two dogs but this house would be perfect for little ones as there’s a big playroom too . »

« Good location, very clean but stairs extremely steep which would be a big problem for the elderly/young and the garden is a trip hazard and needs attention. Having stayed in other properties in Ryde we dont consider it to be value for money as needs a refurb and don’t know how a family of 4 would cope with the bedrooms ! »

« The farmhouse is very comfortable and has everything that you need. There are many pleasant dog walks close by and there is a stoney beach, which is only 20 minutes walk away, a favourite place for our dog and us, as there is also a very nice pub there, that does excellent food . I would definitely stay here again. »

« Thanks so much, Cath and Pete for a lovely stay! The house is beautiful, spotless and you are very thoughtful to provide us with everything we needed. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing, nice and romantic holiday. »
