'Very noisy HVAC'

'I had this room reserved and when I arrived to check in at the front desk the already fed-up employee said nope we are full! Eventually I got him to look at my phone and see that we did in fact have a confirmed reservation under my name at this very location. After some digging on the computer, he told us they must have overbooked and thus cancelled our room, but we "should get a refund". We had driven across the country at this point and now had nowhere to stay. The staff made it very obvious...

'It was a wonderful delight staying in this beautifully secluded space. The hosts were attentive, accommodating and extremely nice. We had everything we needed and then some to enjoy our family holiday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. '

'Good breakfast'

'Comfortable bed, it was nice having a room walk out to the pool. The food was good! They need to explain at checking how order food works, need to explain the tools of pool and hot tub at check in. We wanted to sit in the hot tub with out kids for 10 min before getting out and going to bed and a worker stopped us said no kids. We had been there all day from 3 pm and seen kids going back and forth all day nothing said then we go to use it and told no... my daughter started balling and not the way...

'We reserved a suite to sleep our party comfortably, all amenities needed were in the room. Plenty of luggage carts a key item we look for at all stays.'

'Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was helpful and wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Had to pay $15 per day to park in the garage under the hotel. There were limited spots, so friends in our group had to park in a garage 3 blocks away in the “overflow” parking. Also we did not realize that this hotel is literally in downtown Iowa City right next to the campus, bars, etc. There were some loud young people staying in our hotel. If you are looking for that scene it is the perfect location. '
