'Gezellige pub/hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Toen we erg vroeg weg moesten stond beneden een ontbijtje voor onderweg klaar. Je kunt er ook lekker eten. Het zat iedere avond vol met locale maar als gast heb je gegarandeerd een tafel. '

'We were a family group of 3 and of different generations. We all found the staff we met to be very helpful and friendly. We had an evening meal after arriving and breakfast in the morning, The food was very nice, large enough portions, with enough choice. We stayed in the quadruple family room, with twin beds and a bunk bed. It was large clean and comfortable. The bunk beds were in a seperate room but were directly connected to the main bedroom. I thought the layout would be particularly good...

'Room comfy and clean. Friendly staff very helpful. Great food. Easy parking'

'Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good'

'Loud. Incredibly loud. First, they gave no indication that the room I was staying in opened directly onto the street. The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...

'Enjoyed our stay at the plough. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was a little small but well appointed, with tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, heater/ fan and hair drier. Bed comfortable. 1k from the centre of Hathersage, lots of parking for residents and bus stops outside.'

'Excellent!'
