This cabin was exactly as described. It was very clean with a well stocked kitchen and everything we would need for our stay. It is a mountain cabin but only 10 minutes down to Gatlinburg. The area is beautiful and feels so private, even with other cabins around. It was so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host is very responsive to questions and so nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Justin was a wonderful host - very attentive and responded quickly to all my messages and questions. Unfortunately due to terrible weather, we were unable to make it to the cabin and had to book elsewhere. Justin was very understanding! Would likely book this cabin again (not during the winter months lol) just because it was gorgeous from the pictures and the amenties included were more than the last place I booked.

The cabin was great for our family. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day in downtown. We are a big family that likes to cook so some items in the kitchen were missing. It would be nice to have a griddle for making pancakes and bacon. Also, there were no pot holders to get the pans from the oven. Also, there were not enough forks or steak knives for us to eat dinner together. We ended up eating in shifts but we made it work. The property owners were fabulous! He was responsive and attentive to all my inquiries.

We had such a great stay at this unique A-frame cabin in Gatlinburg! When we first arrived, the cabin seemed a bit small and dark, but once we settled in, we realized it actually offered more space than we needed and had such a calming, cozy feel. The large A-frame window let in beautiful natural light and added so much character.The layout was different but worked perfectly for our group of seven, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The beds were extremely comfortable — we all slept so well! The gaming console and arcade game were a huge hit, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind on our last evening.We loved the peaceful setting and the mountain view from the back deck and primary bedroom. On our last morning, we were lucky enough to see a momma bear and her two cubs right in front of the house — such an unforgettable moment!The road up to the cabin is a bit steep and could be tricky if wet, but we didn’t have any rain during our stay. We actually chose the higher location for the views, and it was absolutely worth it. Plus, the drive up offered some beautiful scenery along the way.Another bonus was the convenient location — there’s a great little pizza place and a small market just down the road, which made it easy to grab a few essentials without a long grocery run.Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable mountain getaway!

Hi, the cabin was nice and clean and location is beautiful. We were party of 11 and were able to sleep comfortably, 3 1/2 baths also made easier to get ready in the morning.The road to the cabin is very steep. There is a deck with beautiful views but bears don’t let you sit on there as they visit the property frequently during the day and night. They check your car’s door and if found unlocked, they get in the car looking for food and drinks. We were told by door dash delivery guy that they are friendly but we didn’t dare to test their friendliness. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

For the price of the rental, the house was a little outdated. One of the bathrooms had a urine smell, the toilet seat was loose. There were some sort of flies in the bathroom so pest control could be improved. TVs in two of the bedrooms did not work; TV in basement was missing remote; the DVD player was working however wouldn't show on the screen I'm guessing due to not being able to change the input. The fridge was older but worked however one of the side baskets on the door broke when I placed a couple of cans of soda in there. The sink had a sign for a garbage disposal but there wasn't one. Was only provided one big trash bag for the kitchen so we had to fill it up and then had to take the trash out to the outside bins which resulted in bears showing up while taking the trash out...needless to say they took over the trash cans which was a once in lifetime experience to see the bears.The cleanliness was ok...I did find some spots that were missed by the cleaning crew under the couch as well as in the laundry room (old socks and ripped pillow). It was obvious that wasn't cleaned. Also, there were cozy sherpa blankets available in the living room for use but they smelled funky...Overall, the house was OK but wouldn't rent that again. Thankfully, we spent most of our time out of the cabin doing other stuff.

Great stay!

We spent the weekend here and had a great time! The cabin is spacious and clean. Not too far from town, but also feels secluded. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Will definitely keep this listing saved for future trips to Gatlinburg!

Amazing stay in the Smokies!!!!!

The cabin was absolutely AMAZING!!! Very spacious, very comfortable!! Entertaining enough to stay in and just simply ENJOY!!! The views were incredible!! Serene, peaceful and very accommodating!! Short drive to many things, activities, dining and fun for the whole family. Hot tub and theater room were perfect! Communication with the hosts was top notch! We did not want to leave!!! We will DEFINITELY be back next year!! And would highly recommend to family and friends!! Could not brag enough about this place!!

Could be nice if repairs are done

First impression was the house was very cute. Unlocking the door with the code was a process to even get in. The sliding glass door is in need of being replaced. It does not lock (handle is falling off) or shut entirely only being secured with a 2x4. The first day the upstairs bathroom sink and shower drains were backed up and causing a waterfall into the bedroom directly below. Contacted host and repairs could not be done during our stay and for a party of 8 losing a bathroom was a huge inconvenience.

Momma Bear

We all loved the bear theme and I felt like a momma bear with all of her cubs. The place was open everywhere except the basement area so i could hear my kids talking, laughing and enjoying each others company from anywhere in the house. We had a great time.

Good and Bad

Positives: Good location close to town. Good view. Clean. Large kitchen table. Daily bear sightings. Negatives: Rundown. Lacked basic kitchen supplies (skillets, baking pan, can opener). No grill despite it listed in amenities. Persistent issues are not fixed, based on previous reviews. In Nov 2023 the owner commented that the upstairs shower leaking into the bedroom below, and sliding door that doesn't latch, were both "promptly addressed". In Sept 2024 both problems persisted. The biggest concern was the sliding door and deck design. As others have mentioned the sliding door to the deck doesn't latch. Instead, it needs a block of wood for bracing shut. The deck's gate is flimsy and easy for the local bear to enter (paw prints by the sliding door). It's difficult to relax on the deck with its one-way in/out design. Very easy to get cornered. In hindsight the lack of grill is for the best - the easy bear access would make grilling problematic.

Rundown property AC doesn't work. door knobs missing. terrible management

Stayed for a week in the July heat- 100 degrees most of the week. the AC was consistently broken/frozen up due to owner pre sets that do not allow the AC to properly cool esp in high heat. Mgmt company gives you daily lipservice runaround. Sends techs who specifically say the problem is the presets fighting the AC trying to cool down and freezing the units. It was 90 degrees inside consistently. Mgmt texts you that they are doing something and refuses to override the presents. The living room sliding door has no handle. There is a gap and you cannot close the slider even with a piece of wood in the door to secure it. gate to the deck is broken also installed backward so bears came daily onto the deck. Large male bears. The hottub does not work properly. Half the jets are broken. The headrests are missing,water is musty smelly. We are hottub owners and know this is bc of poor maintenance. The downstairs bedroom door has non functioning door latches. The kitchen has no pans just pots and parts to two blenders but no complete blender. This property is large with plenty of space but rundown and not maintained. The bathrooms towel bars missing, things break they just don't fix them. decor has broken items just left there. biggest issue is the mgmt responds but does nothing but lead you along but no actual results. the community pools are nice. parking is good. not worth the money for this misery. wish I had looked at previous reviews yrs back bc this is not new.

Its was good

Overall its was not bad, but there was so minor things that need to be address, like half kitchen plugs was not working , the side screen door handle was broken and had to use a rod to keep it closed. The house gets very hot quick, they have the thermostat pre set, then the last night it went out The gate to the porch was not working properly you could push it open very easily. I know they have probaby fixed a hundred times because of the bears.There was trash around the property, cigarettes butts by the front entrance way, dont understand why people can not pick up afterward there selfs. Im not a person to complain but its was not 5 star experience The location was not bad, It was 7 min away from downtown and to the park by car. Yes you will have bears walk around on property a lot and can get a lots of pictures. I wold rate it 3 and a half to a 4. The owners was very nice and help us with a few things, so thank you. I would rate it 5. Probably would not go back to that cabin
