'Very pleased with our stay here. Spacious bedroom, lovely en suite, big choice on all menus, beautifully cooked. All staff very friendly, especially Amanda, who went above and beyond to assist us.. Pensioners! Only one thing to note. Heating hadn't been put on, so rooms rather chilly..bath towels didn't dry. This should have been noted by manager. Would definitely recommend. '

'We stayed room 12 which was clean & spacious, en-suite gave us the option of bath or shower, staff very friendly & attentive , the manager (Doug ) had good banter with the customers which we found very comical, if we needed any top ups ( tea bags , milk etc) staff very obliging.'

'Perfect location to explore Bristol's Gloucester Road shops and restaurants. Friendly pub with good food options and beer selections. Room was large and bed was comfy. Bathroom is small, but you get use to it. '
