Impressive craftsmanship to be appreciated in every room of the original house, which transitions beautifully to the contemporary living area perfect for lounging. The property is lush and completely private. About a two block walk to Four Winds Marina and Lazy Flamingo. We rented a boat at the marina to cruise around the islands and hang out on the beaches at Cayo Costa - an absolute blast. Total island vibe...

'Maria's farmhouse was a perfect getaway for our family. The house was nestled on a little fruit farm and the kids were excited to see the bananas growing just outside the home! The little fenced in yard had a little table where we enjoyed our morning coffee. 'Great stay! Comfortable bed, and everything needed to cook meals instead of going out all the time. Gave location four stars only because the neighborhood is transitioning to be more upscale and so you hear some construction noise as people are building. Not too early or too late though :) Easy walk to the lovely historic district and wonderful downtown shops and restaurants.'

'The perfect spot for nature and seclusion! The cabins (there are 2, dating back to 1890) are nestled in the back of an organic blueberry farm, very serene surroundings. The cabin is charming, a “true” log cabin. Huge wrap around porch, lovely bathroom with both a claw foot soaking tub and shower. While it is not insulated, there are several heating options available if going in the Winter. We enjoyed our Weekend while in town for a family Wedding!'

If you have allergies, asthma or any sensitivity to odors, you should notify before you arrive so they don't spray all the rooms and surfaces to make it smell "nice"- we couldn't breathe until it dissipated the next day.'
