'Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue. '

'One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. I rarely write reviews but their work needs to be recognized. The only con of this hotel, despite what is written on Hotels.com, it's very remote in the moutain and far from Paleochora, so I recommend if you need to rest 2-3 days in a super...

'Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.'

'Wij werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares. Uitgebreide info over omgeving met foldertje. Mooi zicht op zwembad en de zee in de verte. Heel mooi en groot strand. Restaurantjes... ruime kamer met terras, ijskast, airco. We voelden ons als thuis. Dichtbij prachtige wandelmogelijkheden. Een aanrader. '

'Modest accomodations, but with all amenities, like shower, balcony, AC and a fridge in addition. There was no TV but who needs that with the beach only an arms length away...Room was clean, atmosphere friendly and informal, manager very helpful. The manager even drove me to the bus station when I thought I'd miss the bus. I had one of the most relaxing vacations ever for the lowest price ever. And I fell in love with Greece.'

'Very spacious and clean room, with a large balcony. Every day the room was cleaned and the floor was cleaned with water and wiped. Staff was always friendly and willing to help. The included breakfast was excellent with enough options to please everyone in the family of 2 adults and two kids, 10 to 15 years old. The walk to the beach was shorter than we thought (about 5 mins max) and the beach + the sea in this location were wonderful. The sunset is also a must see around 8:30PM local time.'
