'Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds. 'My stay at Intercontinental Auckland was fantastic. Beautiful place, clean, centric with a ton of shopping options. The building has its own entrance to the Mall! No need to step outside if you don't fell like it. I would definitely stay here again. :)'

'This is a small hotel located in the CBD of Auckland with access to attractions, the bay, and plenty of restaurants. It was a very comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable (not rock hard like so many big hotels), the room was small but comfortable with all the amenities, and the staff were great!'
