'The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate an evening meal and breakfast and the food was fantastic. Good produce, well cooked and presented. The bedroom was lovely, well presented and very comfortable. Will definitely visit again.'

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '
