'We stayed 2 nights. Good sized room/bathroom, cozy and very clean. Breakfast served at the table, good choice. We didn’t use the restaurant but it was fully booked the first night and the menu had a good choice. Within walking distance of the center and the ferry’s. Plenty of things to see and do in the area. 'The Lamb is absolutely everything I want from a country get-away; beautiful old building, quiet rural location, a bar that does several good real ales and simply stunning food! The evening meal was exceptional and the English breakfast also got top marks! The room was very comfortable with some excellent features, such as the wonderful bath in the very spacious lounge, the wood burner fire and a cafetiere. 'I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip. '
