« The acorn in a cute little cottage on beautiful Mountain View lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations for area hikes and activities. »

« Was very impressed by the property. Absolutely beautiful house that now has my wife wanting me to match some ideas from the cabin. Very well stocked from linens to kitchen utensils which is always appreciated. Not a negative thing to say about my stay. 5 stars. »

« The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed, and was so very cute.Our host made sure we had our check-in info well ahead of our arrival and responded quickly to our messages however once we arrived at the cottage there was nothing else we needed. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this cottage! »

« Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described. The pond was clean sandy and perfect for swimming with our dogs. The location was quiet ane peaceful and the host was responsive and welcoming. We'd definetly come back. »

« My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son, his wife and two young boys joined us for one overnight. We canoed, did some kayaking, grilled a fabulous dinner and played several of the many board games available. The house has been beautifully renovated, and the kitchen seems to hold anything you could possibly want or need. It’s about a 20 minute drive into New London, a lovely town and great place to visit. Very peaceful, beautiful scenery, and enjoyed by all! »

« Great oasis on a clean quiet lake. Kitchen set up well for cooking, nice dining area and inviting living space. 2 private bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Back porch has good gas grill. The real highlight was the yard with a large wrought iron fire pit and seating overlooking the lake and literally only 3 cars a day drove down the road. The variety of boats available for easy renter use was icing on the cake! »
